For most of us Rites-of-passage sounds foreign, like something primitives have done long ago. Sadly, for most of us this is true. In our modern society rites-of-passage has been all but lost, but people are starting to listen to their hearts and spirits. It is here that the almost silent calling is being awoken. This calling, at a very fundamental level is for guidance and support in understanding and coping with the great mystery of life and all the challenges necessary in creating a conscious life.
To
mentor is to see accurately the “gifts” in the initiate.
Rites-of-passage is to get the initiate to know and fully express what’s
inside- Their ‘Gifts”
To be
acknowledged and blessed within a community is a profound experience.
