Our privately owned, two acre island is the perfect site for numerous programs including; men's retreats, rites- of- passages ceremonies, rituals, workshops, and the base camp for local canoe trips.

Located on the Housatonic River in New Milford, CT the island provides not only comforts of two buildings with full kitchen and sleeping facilitates, along with a 24 foot tipi, the river boundary helps in the creation of sacred and safe space. There is a rich history of the families and friends who built and cared for this unique retreat center since the early 1900s.
