About the leaders ...

The leader of these adventures is Jody Grose. For oner 20 years, Jody has led a variety of workshops, rituals and trips for men. His talent is in building the safety needed for men to explore their inner truth. Jody created the organization Return To The Fire eleven years ago to manifest his commitment to the healing of men.

In addition to being a lifelong canoeist, Jody facilitates workshops, guides rites-of-passage, counsels men, and teaches special education. He resides in Newtown, CT with his wife and two children.

Joining Jody for the Father/Son trip is Paul Gemme. Paul is also an avid canoeist and is certified in Adventure Education and First Wilderness Response. Paul brings a powerful spirit-filled element to the group experience that will make this adventure memorable and enjoyable. Paul is impassioned with 17 years of experience in teaching others how access their own higher, creative Self using drums, flutes and other Native American techniques.

No previous experience is necessary for this trip.  You will be taught safety precautions and how to paddle.
